What are the SoS2LearnDBS Calls?

The SoS2LearnDBS will provide financial support (grants) to projects that support community-led efforts to restore rivers, seas, and waters in the Danube River Basin and Black Sea region. Through education, collaboration, and funding, we aim to empower local communities to create sustainable, innovative solutions for cleaner waters and healthier ecosystems, while working toward the EU’s vision of healthy waters and ecosystems by 2030.

There will be 2 types of grants: Community-led actions (CLed) and transition agendas (TAg).

CLed grants

Will fund larger, community-driven pilot projects aimed at implementing innovative solutions with significant, measurable impacts. These are initiatives where local communities actively define, design, and implement solutions to address local social, environmental, and economic challenges.

SOS2LearnDBS will fund at least 10 CLed actions, with a maximum grant of 1.000.000€ per project.

TAg grants

Will fund the development of strategic roadmaps that guide communities in achieving long-term environmental and social goals, aligned with Mission Ocean 2030 objectives.

SOS2LearnDBS will fund at least 26 Tag, with a maximum grant of 100.000€ per project
